For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Isn’t David hiding himself among us?”
Psalms 54.1: 1 Save me, God, by your name.
Vindicate me in your might.
Psalms 54.2: 2 Hear my prayer, God.
Listen to the words of my mouth.
Psalms 54.3: 3 For strangers have risen up against me.
Violent men have sought after my soul.
They haven’t set God before them. Selah.
Psalms 54.4: 4 Behold, God is my helper.
The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
Psalms 54.5: 5 He will repay the evil to my enemies.
Destroy them in your truth.
Psalms 54.6: 6 With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you.
I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.
Psalms 54.7: 7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble.
My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
Proverbs 12.0:

Proverbs 12.1: 1 Whoever loves correction loves knowledge,
but he who hates reproof is stupid.
Proverbs 12.2: 2 A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh,
but he will condemn a man of wicked plans.
Proverbs 12.3: 3 A man shall not be established by wickedness,
but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
Proverbs 12.4: 4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband,
but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones.
Proverbs 12.5: 5 The thoughts of the righteous are just,
but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.
Proverbs 12.6: 6 The words of the wicked are about lying in wait for blood,
but the speech of the upright rescues them.
Proverbs 12.7: 7 The wicked are overthrown, and are no more,
but the house of the righteous shall stand.
Proverbs 12.8: 8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom,
but he who has a warped mind shall be despised.
Proverbs 12.9: 9 Better is he who is little known, and has a servant,
than he who honors himself, and lacks bread.
Proverbs 12.10: 10 A righteous man respects the life of his animal,
but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
Proverbs 12.11: 11 He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread,
but he who chases fantasies is void of understanding.
Proverbs 12.12: 12 The wicked desires the plunder of evil men,
but the root of the righteous flourishes.
Proverbs 12.13: 13 An evil man is trapped by sinfulness of lips,
but the righteous shall come out of trouble.
Proverbs 12.14: 14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth.
The work of a man’s hands shall be rewarded to him.
Proverbs 12.15: 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,
but he who is wise listens to counsel.
Proverbs 12.16: 16 A fool shows his annoyance the same day,
but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
Proverbs 12.17: 17 He who is truthful testifies honestly,
but a false witness lies.
Proverbs 12.18: 18 There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword,
but the tongue of the wise heals.
Proverbs 12.19: 19 Truth’s lips will be established forever,
but a lying tongue is only momentary.
Proverbs 12.20: 20 Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but joy comes to the promoters of peace.
Proverbs 12.21: 21 No mischief shall happen to the righteous,
but the wicked shall be filled with evil.
Proverbs 12.22: 22 Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh,
but those who do the truth are his delight.
Proverbs 12.23: 23 A prudent man keeps his knowledge,
but the hearts of fools proclaim foolishness.
Proverbs 12.24: 24 The hands of the diligent ones shall rule,
but laziness ends in slave labor.
Proverbs 12.25: 25 Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,
but a kind word makes it glad.
Proverbs 12.26: 26 A righteous person is cautious in friendship,
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Proverbs 12.27: 27 The slothful man doesn’t roast his game,
but the possessions of diligent men are prized.
Proverbs 12.28: 28 In the way of righteousness is life;
in its path there is no death.
Isaiah 52.0:
52
Isaiah 52.1: 1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion.
Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city:
for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.
Isaiah 52.2: 2 Shake yourself from the dust!
Arise, sit up, Jerusalem!
Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion!
Isaiah 52.3: 3 For Yahweh says, “You were sold for nothing;
and you will be redeemed without money.”
Isaiah 52.4: 4 For the Lord Yahweh says:
“My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there:
and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
Isaiah 52.5: 5 “Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Yahweh,
“seeing that my people are taken away for nothing?
Those who rule over them mock,” says Yahweh,
“and my name is blasphemed continually all day long.
Isaiah 52.6: 6 Therefore my people shall know my name.
Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks.
Behold, it is I.”
Isaiah 52.7: 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace,
who brings good news,
who proclaims salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Isaiah 52.8: 8 Your watchmen lift up their voice.
Together they sing;
for they shall see eye to eye when Yahweh returns to Zion.
Isaiah 52.9: 9 Break out into joy!
Sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem;
for Yahweh has comforted his people.
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
Isaiah 52.10: 10 Yahweh has made his holy arm bare in the eyes of all the nations.
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Isaiah 52.11: 11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there! Touch no unclean thing!
Go out from among her!
Cleanse yourselves, you who carry Yahweh’s vessels.
Isaiah 52.12: 12 For you shall not go out in haste,
neither shall you go by flight:
for Yahweh will go before you;
and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
Isaiah 52.13: 13 Behold, my servant will deal wisely.
He will be exalted and lifted up,
and will be very high.
Isaiah 52.14: 14 Just as many were astonished at you—
his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men—
Isaiah 52.15: 15 so he will cleanse many nations.
Kings will shut their mouths at him;
for they will see that which had not been told them,
and they will understand that which they had not heard.
1 John 4.0:

1 John 4.1: 1 Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1 John 4.2: 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
1 John 4.3: 3 and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
1 John 4.4: 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
1 John 4.5: 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
1 John 4.6: 6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn’t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
1 John 4.7: 7 Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.
1 John 4.8: 8 He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
1 John 4.9: 9 By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4.10: 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4.11: 11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4.12: 12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
1 John 4.13: 13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
1 John 4.14: 14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
1 John 4.15: 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
1 John 4.16: 16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
1 John 4.17: 17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so we are in this world.
1 John 4.18: 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4.19: 19 We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4.20: 20 If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
1 John 4.21: 21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
Revelation 11.0:

Revelation 11.1: 1 A reed like a rod was given to me. Someone said, “Rise, and measure God’s temple, and the altar, and those who worship in it.
Revelation 11.2: 2 Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don’t measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.
Revelation 11.3: 3 I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
Revelation 11.4: 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lamp stands, standing before the Lord of the earth.
Revelation 11.5: 5 If anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. If anyone desires to harm them, he must be killed in this way.
Revelation 11.6: 6 These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
Revelation 11.7: 7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.
Revelation 11.8: 8 Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
Revelation 11.9: 9 From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations, people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.
Revelation 11.10: 10 Those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and they will be glad. They will give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
Revelation 11.11: 11 After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them.
Revelation 11.12: 12 I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.
Revelation 11.13: 13 In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Revelation 11.14: 14 The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe comes quickly.
Revelation 11.15: 15 The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”
Revelation 11.16: 16 The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
Revelation 11.17: 17 saying: “We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power and reigned.
Revelation 11.18: 18 The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
Revelation 11.19: 19 God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.
